UK Construction Week beckons
Last week saw the UK’s largest construction trade event take place at the NEC in Birmingham, as part of the annual UK construction week. Over 650 exhibitors attended with visitors exceeding 30,000 over the 3 days. The exhibition featured nine different shows under one roof covering including the Build Show, Civils Expo and Energy 2016. Working across all these sectors, APS sent their Development Manager on a fact finding mission to gather information, meet existing and potential new clients and listen to a variety of discussions concerning key issues currently effecting the sector.
During the day, Gail was able to discuss the archaeological requirements for some of the largest scale civil construction projects such as HS2 alongside speaking to key figures from the construction industry involved in procuring work and their supply chain processes. Some of the latest geophysical and surveying equipment was on display alongside key essentials for the construction industry including health and safety products.
APS provides a full range of archaeological services to the construction sector and associated industries and would be happy to discuss any project requirements with prospective clients. A complete list of our services can be found on our website.
